The Aged Care industry is continually facing the need to change accommodation standards, increase care and service standards, improve safety and introduce innovative programs. These changes can result from a variety of areas including:

• Feedback from our existing, and prospective, residents;
• Market pressures;
• Government legislation;
• Changes in resident care needs; and
• Generational change in Lifestyle preferences.

Freemasons Homes of Southern Tasmania believes any change must:

• Improve the safety, comfort and care of residents; and
• Meet the expectations of our residents and their families; and
• Improve the working environment of our staff and volunteers.

The recent redevelopment of our two residential care facilities cost in excess of $14 million and was achieved, in part, because of the generous bequests received from the Freemasonry movement, residents and the general public over past years.

The Home appreciates all contributions and donations, of $2 or more, are tax deductible.
