How To Apply

Eligibility
An ACAT Assessment must be undertaken to approve your eligibility for entry into either permanent high or low residential care. Your application cannot be considered without an ACAT approval. Aged Care Assessment Team 03 6222 7274.

Cost
While the Australian Government provides funding to Freemasons’ Homes of Southern Tasmania to assist with the costs associated with providing care, residents will also contribute to the cost of their care by paying fees and charges.

The fees and charges are prescribed by the Government and fall into two categories:

• Daily care fees; and
• Accommodation Payments

The amount you can be asked to pay depends on your income and assets.
