The Freemasons’ Homes of Southern Tasmania provide specialist residential care services to the aged and frail within our community. We also recognise the importance, to family and friends of our residents, of residents being safe, secure and enjoying a quality of life, designed to exceed their expectations.
Our Home provides a mix of high and low care services which promote and support independence and the freedom for residents to make their own choices and decisions, if they so wish.
Freemasons’ Homes of Southern Tasmania have established a partnership with Alzheimer’s Australia (Tasmania) and developed the ‘Relationship Centred’ Model of Care; an innovative care model designed to improve the lifestyle of residents with dementia and other behavioural issues.
Our residents enjoy a variety of ancillary services including physiotherapy and hairdressing. A number of allied health services that visit the Home including chemists, podiatrists and local general practitioners.

Residential care is of the highest standard with a diverse range of leisure activities individually designed with each resident. Our residents enjoy home-cooked meals and our on-site laundry uses state of the art, environmentally-friendly laundry systems.
